To all you
Christians and Deists
<4/17/02 Portland, OR>
If you love God and Jesus, you must love me.
Jesus is a part of God, and He is quoted in the bible as saying "God
is in the people."
I have outlived Jesus' 33 years.
If Jesus were to have come now, rather than when He did, He would be
ignored by the
government, the media, commerce and many other people, as one of many
people who are
simply seeking attention, and a radical conservative seeking to revere the
past yet slightly
change the future. Now Jesus exists with God as a spirit, more properly,
an idea.
We are all a part of this idea and that includes me.
"As you do to the least of mine, so do you do to me" A spirit is
something that does
not exist physically. When you hear the word "spirit",
substitute the word idea.
It works.
Sincerely,
Jim Spagg |

Revelation
<12/8/01 Portland, OR>
I am...
As the time of life unravels and
gradually reveals it's realities, we are at times somewhat taken aback.
This may be one of those times. In the drama of life, the light is cast to
those things to be considered profound. In life, there are many illusions,
this may be one of them.
There is also the possibility that this is reality.
I, Jim Spagg, am a holy man. I know what I am doing,
I have done what I have done, and I am a believer in the knowledge upon
which I have acted. I have been places, and done things which many people
have never, and perhaps will never experience.
My life has been one where I have tried to focus on those things which are
significant in the human experience. Innocence was both gained and lost in
a life which has had
both blessings and curses. There are some things in life it is better to
not know. Sometimes, perhaps unfortunately, the truth is forced upon you.
It can make you strong, but strong
with regret. The path, none the less, continues. I have been hated, and
hated back. I have been loved, and loved
back, and so the reflections in the mirror continue to
compliment each other. To the humans of the world, I have given of myself
with
no profit, save the personal satisfaction of artistic and unique
accomplishment. As in my earlier life I was dependant on those who
contributed to my welfare, I have seen fit to return by
giving of myself and my own special individual and creative abilities. As
my mind has digested large amounts of input in my life's experiences,
there has been some worth passing on to
others. Spirituality is a major concept in life which people are aware of
and experience to varying degrees, I have seen it's relevance
in contrast to the excesses of
rampant materialism, particularly
here in America. On need not believe in a deity
to have the ability to experience spirituality. Music and emotions are
highly related to spirituality, important facets of the human experience.
People will not remember me until I am gone, and then they will wonder
what I was like. The idea of free will gives us the freedom of
individuality and the ability to believe whatever spiritual concept we may
choose. The idea that we are all made in the image and likeness of God
tells us we are all gods, again a free mind, to imagine what we will. So I
have reached my holiness, and am at your service. |

God's Message
<12/5/01 Portland, OR>
Last night was the most exhilarating night
of my life, as I was visited by our Most Heavenly
Father, God, Who resides in the eternal celestial
perfection of Heaven, the eternal reward for
saints. I cannot describe Him to you, I can only
tell you that I was filled with the Heavenly Presence
of The Eternal One, Yaweh. Only naturally did I
wonder, to what great purpose was I the recipient
of such an unimaginable honor, and as I did so, I
became aware that I was to be the instrument
through which He, Our Almighty Father would
tell all humanity the answer to our quest for the
perfection of our human race.
This
then, is God's Blessed Message:
Bitty scum, no
way. Bitty scum, no wayBitty scum, bitty scum, no way, no way.
Bitty scum, no way. bitty scum, no way.
Bi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ty scum, nooo way.
Oh chooch, oh chooch. Oh chooch, oh chooch.
Oh chooch, oh chooch. Oh chooch, oh chooch.
Bitty scum, no way. Oh chooch, oh chooch.
Oh chooch, oh chooch. Oh chooch, oh chooch.Bi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ty scum, noooo

'Tis the Season
to be Rotten
<8/10/01 Portland, OR>
As I view society in my general view of
America, I note an emerging theme
of rudeness. Yes, it appears to me that rudeness is in, as is evidenced by
such creeps as Tom Green, who seems to be cleaning up his act because he
seems to sense that he may be too rude, and that may mean less commercial
dollars.
You see this rudeness and insensitivity in many places, largely in the new
so-called "reality shows', such as Survivor, Big Brother, Fear
Factor, and Spy, which is the latest "Candid Camera. How's about
Jerry Springer?
I never liked or cared to watch Candid Camera, because I hate invasion of
privacy, and it is certainly that.
Rap music encourages insensitivity, I've never been able to visualize it
as music. So many white children influenced by "rap" in a way
that they become black wanna be's.
My interpretatition of this unfortunate rudeness trend goes to more than
one cause. To me the main cause is the sad dissolution of the basic family
unit. People enter into marriage not aware of what serious ramifications
are there, and the resulting children wind up with one or one and a half
parents. Good, psychologically well-rounded parents who truly know how to
love each other and their children can bring about some wonderfully happy
and effective children.
I don't get the impression that society will return to the basic two
parent family unit. Socially, people seem to be becoming less able to care
about each other, and more for themselves. Me is big.
Another explanation for the emerging insensitivity is the impersonal
communications technology of the computer, video games, voicemail, pagers,
video cameras and surveillance, rampant in many places.
These comments aren't going to make anything happen, they'll just spread a
little light on the real reality. Encourage Your Convictions!
When you find something rare that excites you, get behind it and encourage
it. There are a lot of people who don't like the "Jim Spagg"
philosophy, and they actively want to stop it. They have not been
ineffective. There are others who say they love the ideas, yet they are
passive in promoting them. We need your energy, whatever you can spare to
pass the good word, send a copy to Aunt Minnie in Azusa, make calls to
media, or write effective letters. What can you do for Holy Moly Gargonzli,
or Yowza Bowza Wowza? We need your help and caring. Let's do our part to
encourage the growth of "Nudity is not dirty" and "People
are too busy and too serious."

The
Wonderful Illusion of Free Speech
<6/14/01 Portland, OR>
Ever since I heard about public access TV,
I have been in love with it. Why?
Because I am an artist and an artist is a person who expresses himself. To
some degree we are all artists, because we all like to express ourselves.
When people would turn on their public access channels, some of them were
amazed to find people saying and showing things that you basically didn't
find anywhere else, and the effect was that it was quite refreshing.
Of course, there is a lot of religious
programming, a lot of people are involved in churches, so they have the
resources to comply with the minimum requirements to put on a public
access show, and maybe they even have an audience. So what, it's free
speech. The great number of religious shows tends to cloud out some of the
other more outrageous shows, and some of them are easily ignored. After
all, who really cares about the environment, or the Portland water
problem? and how many people really give a damn about the WTO?
So while these types of shows appear to make
waves, the fact is, they are almost harmless. You have freedom of speech
as long as you say things people don't mind hearing. Some people are
raising the issue of police brutality, and that's a little closer to home.
But there are many who are even willing to ignore that: let the police
rule, they're the "good" guys. Right?
Now along comes this here fellow saying really
controversial things like, "nudity is not dirty!' and "It's okay
to jack-off!". " People are too busy and too serious!" and
"Happy doodles!" These things are so universal that people
instinctively love them or hate them. What with the very heavy influence
of the government, the media and Holy Mother Church, not surprisingly, the
majority of the "people" hate these concepts. God doesn't want
this, and we must do His will. ( Don't you just love it when people tell
you what God is saying?)
I have been doing this public access thing for over 10
years, and one of the major lessons I have learned is that politics is
stronger than law. Freedom of the press belongs to the one who has the
press, and in the case of public access, the press belongs to the city.
You see, the city decides how much funding to give public access, so
through politics, they will ultimately control the content.
This means that Rob Skelton of Portland Cable
Access must consciously be aware of what the content is on PCA channels,
or it might affect his funding. This happens on other access stations too,
so don't expect to see much of me anymore.
That's good news, isn't it? What this country
needs is censorship. |

<5/23/00
Portland, OR>
As I have been presenting my video show on
public access TV, I have been showing a graphic which proclaims that
" There's more to life than God and Jesus". Needless to say,
this has caused some consternation for some "Christians".
"Jesus is my whole life.", they say, or "Without GOD,
I would be nothing!". Contrary-wise, madam, life is bigger than that.
God and Jesus are above, and life and people are all around you. You can
give you life to God, but in so doing , you are limiting what a big, wide
and wonderful experience your life can be.
There is nothing wrong with loving God or Jesus, who are wonderful
concepts created by the very people with whom you are sharing your life,
however, it would take you many of these wonderful lifetimes to gather and
enjoy the knowledge and experiences of the billions of people who are
living and have lived life.
I love Jesus, or at least whatever we are capable of learning and
knowing of "H"im.
To me, Christ was the ultimate human who loved everyone, including his
enemies, which is what we should all do. but, we are only human, and the
man we know as Christ, was probably greatly embellished for posterity, as
the stories about "H"im were handed down by what is refereed to
as oral tradition.
So love God and Jesus if you will, but be sure to love all of your
fellow human beings who theoretically were created in "H"is
image.
And love life! It's a gift you never asked for, yet now you can
celebrate it. |

<02/00
Portland, OR>
IT HAS BEEN 5
YEARS....Yes, 5 years since I, Jim Spagg, did
those "Undesirable" shows, showing explicit nudity with
the idea that "Nudity Is Not Dirty" and that "You
Don't Have To Be Beautiful To Be Naked". Now here is the big
question:.........WHAT HARM HAS IT DONE?.........All the
religious nuts and right-wing conservatives who were squirming in their
shorts, what terrible lasting effect did it have? I used to say, "I
wish that when I was eleven, there was a show like this.", and now, 5
years later, I have many school students, who loved and
appreciated the shows, thanking me for having the balls, and it did take
balls, for doing and showing that nudity is not dirty. If anyone out there
can show cause as to how those shows had any kind of material negative
effect, you are invited to e-mail this web-site or tell the rest of the
world by some other peaceful means. That being said, I now ask...........WHAT
GOOD HAS IT DONE?..............Again, I invite grateful viewers
and JIM SPAGG fans to e-mail or call in on our new shows,
and tell me how the Jim Spagg shows have helped you as
you emerged into becoming the wonderful person that you are. It's 5
years later. You can also call Portland Cable Access (PCA) @
503.288.1515. This is where we do the show. If you love the show, tell
them. |

<4.02.00
Portland, OR. >
We are now entering the third
millennium of time since the birth of Christ, that is, we are now
beginning the third thousand years from when the "teacher of
Righteousness" walked the soil of this planet.
Many men, including myself have claimed to be the rebirth of this
"Christ".
Verily, I say unto you, we must, in this new millennium, turn our thoughts
to
the brotherhood of man, that we are all one in humanity. The world and all
of nature are all depending on mankind to reconcile himself to the need we
have to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and be more
definitive about
Mr. in-between. Clearly, we have ideological, cultural and religious
differences, but we simply must focus on those things which make us all
one.
We all breath the same air, we share the planet, we have the same
anatomy,
we all have brains that think and have emotions, we need each other. We,
more than any other creature or creatures, are polluting this planet on a
level that is so unacceptable, we are ultimately driving ourselves off it,
and to hell
with all the other life forms. And where will we go? How many will go? Who
is so special that they will go while others are left behind?
We will all be happier when we stop fighting each other and permit each
other to see the many wonders of each other! As an individual, you are
free to believe whatever you choose, but you can't expect others to accept
your beliefs as their own. You can discuss yours, and listen to theirs,
but it is necessary to accept that we are all individuals with minds
of our own. We must prevent destruction, and encourage positive
accomplishment. Go forth and multiply the common good. |
